As many of you know, our roof situation has been kind of crazy over the last year. We have struggled for quite some time with how best to handle and disclose any information about the project. Enough has happened over the last year that it feels as though it would be a disservice to continue to keep things under the rug.

Our roof was replaced by Steve Hoff at Elite Construction in Casper/Worland. The project took about eight months, with poor communication, missing materials, no work being done, and extensive water damage to our home. Eventually, with an expired permit, our roof was finished. However, with this last rainstorm, I finally had an opportunity to go up to the peak and see how it was holding up, only to find that it had been done with the same quality as the rest of the job.

With every fiber of my being, I urge you to avoid Steve Hoff and His business, Elite Construction. Who, thus far, has not responded to my attempt to contact him about the state of our roof.

Complete tear off of 3 layers of original shingles down to decking. Overlay roof deck with 97
sheets of 4 x 8 x 7/16 OSB sheathing.
Install ice water shield with valley flashings and D-style roof edge around the perimeter. Cover
roof with synthetic underlayment and shingle starter strip
Recover and finish flat 1.65 sq. of roof with E.P.D.M. rubber roof coating.
Finish main roof with 26 sq. of duration 130 mph shingles of choice color.
All materials, demo, disposal, tools and labor Total Cost $24,200

35% on completion $ 8,470
